Welcome to Cheyenne Mustangs Baseball! The Cheyenne Competitive Baseball Association (CCBA) was organized in 2008. It was formed for the purpose of providing competitive baseball opportunities for youth players 13 through 18 years old. We offer high school and junior high school age players an opportunity to play a highly competitive level of baseball. We also allow our players to be involved in other sports, work outside the home, and concentrate on school. We know that many young athletes have the desire to play more than one sport. We do not discourage that as we want the “Blue Chip” athlete in our program.

Teams in our organization are affiliated with the American Amateur Baseball Congress (AABC), a highly recognized national baseball organization. The AABC provides a high level of competitive baseball designed to develop the skills and talents of players seeking to play at the high school, college and professional levels.

Cheyenne Mustangs teams play in the Colorado AABC league. The Mustangs varsity team plays in the Connie Mack division for players 18 years old and under. Approximately 30 teams compete each year in the Colorado Connie Mack division, providing the highest level of competition in the area. Cheyenne Mustangs teams in the younger divisions also compete in Colorado AABC leagues for their age group.

Through our affiliation with the AABC and participation in the Colorado leagues, Mustangs teams have the opportunity to play a high level of baseball competition within a close geographical proximity. It also provides players in our program the ability to be seen by college scouts who frequently attend Connie Mack games and tournaments. We are committed to getting players ready for the next level of baseball and helping them get an opportunity to play in the college ranks.
